A motorcyclist in his 30s has died in a collision involving a car on the N71 at Caha Pass, Co Cork this afternoon.<\/p>\n
The collision happened at 2.55pm and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
No other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.<\/p>\n
The man’s body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone travelling on the N71 between Glengarriff and Kenmare between 2.15pm and 2.45pm who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.<\/p>\n
