Four men have been arrested after garda\u00ed stopped a vehicle following a “managed containment operation” on the M50 in Dublin yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
Three men aged in their 20s and one in his 40s, who garda\u00ed say are members of an organised burglary gang, were arrested after garda\u00ed stopped their vehicle at around 10.30am yesterday.<\/p>\n
The silver car was searched by garda\u00ed and a number of house breaking implements as well as gloves and face coverings were seized.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed believe that the criminal group has used the 2006 Volvo S4 in a number of burglaries and similar incidents nationwide.<\/p>\n
The car was also bearing false registration plates, garda\u00ed said.<\/p>\n
All men are being detained under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at garda stations in Dublin.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone with information or who may have seen the silver Volvo in their area to contact them.<\/p>\n
