Hayden Panettiere\u2019s former partner, Wladimir Klitschko, said the actress \u201cwill never be forgotten\u201d as he remembers \u201cthe love she brought into this world\u201d on what would have been her 37th birthday.<\/p>\n

The US actress, who starred in Heroes and Nashville, died at her home in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Former boxer Klitschko dated the star\u00a0from 2009 to 2018, and their daughter Kaya was born in 2014.<\/p>\n

He was among the many famous faces who paid tribute to Panettiere after her death, writing earlier this week that his family was \u201cgoing through a time of profound shock and grief\u201d.<\/p>\n

Klitschko commemorated Panettiere\u2019s first birthday since she died in a post to Instagram on Friday, having penned a lengthy tribute beneath a photo of the actress.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cToday is Hayden\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cInstead of celebrating the way we had planned, today we celebrate her life, her spirit, and the love she brought into this world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Klitschko acknowledged \u201cthe incredible outpouring of love and support\u201d which has followed since her death, adding: \u201cAt a time filled with so much sadness, your kindness has reminded me that there is still so much good in humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

He ended the post with a message urging for kindness, and said: \u201cIf you\u2019re reading this, I ask just one thing: even if only for a moment, think about Love.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Birthday, Hayden. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The post has been inundated with comments from supporters, fans and celebrities including actor Sam Palladio, who starred alongside Panettiere in country music drama Nashville.<\/p>\n

\u201cSending love on this sad day,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Panettiere began acting as a child, appearing in soap operas before gaining wider recognition for her role in the 2000 sports drama Remember The Titans alongside Denzel Washington, and as the voice of Dot in Pixar\u2019s 1998 film A Bug\u2019s Life.<\/p>\n

Panettiere later found fame playing cheerleader Claire Bennet in the superhero drama Heroes before going on to star as up-and-coming country singer Juliette Barnes for six seasons on Nashville.<\/p>\n
