Already a popular healthy-eating destination with locations in Blackwood and Woodbury Heights, Clean Plate Meal Prep is expanding to Cherry Hill, with additional South Jersey locations also in the works.<\/p>\n
Clean Plate focuses on high-protein, lower-calorie meals made with fresh ingredients. While the restaurants offer a casual dine-in experience, a big part of the concept is meal prep, allowing customers to purchase multiple prepared meals at once for convenient eating throughout the week.<\/p>\n
For today\u2019s busy lifestyles, when it\u2019s often tempting to pull into a fast-food drive-thru, Clean Plate offers another option: fast, convenient food with a healthier focus.<\/p>\n

News of the Cherry Hill location was announced on Clean Plate\u2019s social media channels, where the company teased the expansion with an on-site construction video.<\/p>\n
While initially presented as a contest to guess the location, many viewers quickly recognized Tuscany Marketplace on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, which is also home to Bobby Chez, Tuscana, The Boiling House and other businesses.<\/p>\n
Tuscany Marketplace features two buildings positioned around a small central courtyard. Clean Plate will occupy a prime space at the front of the left-side building, with an entrance from the courtyard and large windows facing the front of the property.<\/p>\n
Recent videos show crews actively gutting the interior, with new wall framing already underway.<\/p>\n
Clean Plate Meal Prep Experience<\/p>\n Wanting to learn more about Clean Plate myself, I stopped by the Blackwood location today for lunch \u2014 and my timing couldn\u2019t have been better.<\/p>\n As I arrived, I recognized owner Caesar walking back from his car and had a chance to talk with him about Cherry Hill. He also shared that additional Clean Plate locations are in the works, although they haven\u2019t been announced yet.<\/p>\n I also owe Caesar and his team an apology! Despite the Blackwood restaurant being close to my house, I somehow missed its original opening. I think I was so focused on the \u201cmeal prep\u201d part of the name that I didn\u2019t realize Clean Plate is also a full casual restaurant.<\/p>\n Inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the attractive dining space, featuring tables and counter seating that make great use of the large windows.<\/p>\n Caesar says Cherry Hill will also include dine-in seating, but the new restaurant will have its own look and vibe.<\/p>\n The menu includes Flex Bowls, grilled wraps, quesadillas, salads, Flex Salads, smoothies, protein shakes and plenty more.<\/p>\n For lunch, I went with a signature Flex Bowl, choosing brown rice, grilled chicken, onions, peppers, feta cheese and sweet chili sauce.<\/p>\n With some help from the team, I think I hit a home run with that combination.
