{"id":602092,"date":"2026-08-23T11:38:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T11:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/602092\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T11:38:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T11:38:09","slug":"donegal-to-face-dublin-in-all-ireland-masters-football-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/602092\/","title":{"rendered":"Donegal to face Dublin in All-Ireland Masters football final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n                Donegal to face Dublin in All-Ireland Masters football final<br \/>\n                August 23, 2026<\/p>\n<p>                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/d6942a7f-4988-4fdd-aef5-a2904a648028.jpg\"\/><br \/>Bernard Brogan and Kevin McManamon are both part of the Dublin Masters&#8217; squad this year \u00a9INPHO\/James Crombie<\/p>\n<p>Donegal will play Dublin in the All-Ireland Gaelic Masters Football Championship final after both sides won their respective semi-finals on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Donegal booked their place in the Dr Mickey Loftus Cup decider with a 1-6 to 0-7 win over Kerry in Claregalway.<\/p>\n<p>Kerry led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the halfway stage, but Brendan Boyle\u2019s goal and the points of Damien Browne, who finished with 0-6, powered the Tir Chonaill men to victory after an impressive second-half.<\/p>\n<p>In Kilcullen, Dublin were comfortable in a 3-18 to 0-10 win against Waterford to book their place in the final, while Meath and Roscommon are now through to the Masters Shield final.<\/p>\n<p>John L Magee bagged both goals in Dowdallshill as Meath defeated Armagh by 2-10 to 0-14 after extra time, with Roscommon seeing off Monaghan on a 2-13 to 2-8 scoreline in Edgeworthstown.<\/p>\n<p>Tyrone booked their place in the Plate final thanks to a 4-14 to 0-12 win over Limerick in Athlone.
