Dublin Metropolitan Region South Roads Policing Unit of An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na<\/a> have seized a motorbike being driven dangerously.<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed <\/a>say that four youths were driving recklessly on motorbikes <\/a>in close quarters to a family and child. One of the youths was caught by Garda\u00ed and their vehicle was seized.<\/p>\n The youths were on a public road, and fled into a nearby forest when Garda\u00ed approached. The driver of the seized bike had no driving licence or insurance for the motorcycle, and was not wearing a helmet.<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed said that the vehicle was seized under Section 109A of the Road Traffic Act.<\/p>\n “DMR-S RPU were on patrol this afternoon when they observed a group of youths driving dangerously on a public road with a family and young child in close vicinity” Dublin<\/a> Garda\u00ed said via Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n “All youths were wearing tracksuits and only had a helmet on. Protective clothing is not a legal requirement but highly advised. All four youths fled upon sight of Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na Dublin\ufeff<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed continued to patrol the area and managed to stop the driver of this motorcycle as they attempted to abscond into a nearby forest.”<\/p>\n The driver had no driving licence or insurance for the motorcycle.
