<\/p>\nBrazil midfielder Fabinho has signed a two-year deal with Trabzonspor, the Turkish Super \u2060Lig side announced on Monday, and will link up with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old midfielder will receive a \u20ac2.6m guaranteed fee and \u20ac1.4m signing fee per season according to a Turkish stock exchange filing made by the team on Monday.<\/p>\n
“An agreement has been reached for a two-year contract with… Fabinho, who is currently in free status,” \u200cTrabzonspor posted on X.<\/p>\n
Fabinho \u2060joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad in 2023 and won the domestic league after his five-year stint at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
“A really special feeling to be playing with Salah again… I had the opportunity to play with him for five years in Liverpool. He \u200cis a person whom I respect a lot both for what he has done and what he will \u2060do,” Fabinho said after arriving at Trabzon airport earlier on Monday.<\/p>\n
Looking \u200cto reignite his chemistry with 34-year-old Salah, Fabinho said: “I will \u2060always try \u200cto do the best I can with whatever ability I have.<\/p>\n
“Along with the experience and leadership that come from playing for so many years, I will always try to \u2060help my teammates.”<\/p>\n
Fabinho made 219 appearances for Liverpool, winning the Premier League, Champions \u2060League, FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup titles.<\/p>\n
Egypt forward Salah joined Trabzonspor as a free agent earlier this month.<\/p>\n
Trabzonspor face Ferencvaros in the second leg of their Europa League play-off on Thursday after a 1-0 loss last week.<\/p>\n

Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign winger Allan Elias (above) from Brazilian club Palmeiras.<\/p>\n
The fee is \u20ac37.5m plus add-ons of \u20ac2.5m.<\/p>\n
City are closing in on signing the 22-year-old after agreeing to sell his fellow Brazilian winger Savinho to Tottenham for an initial \u00a375m (\u20ac87.6m).<\/p>\n
Allan is reportedly already in Manchester for a medical with both the fee and personal terms already agreed.<\/p>\n
He came through the Palmeiras youth teams and made his first team debut in January 2025. He made 61 appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring seven goals.<\/p>\n
New City head coach Enzo Maresca is keen to continue his rebuild after replacing Pep Guardiola, with the likes of Rodri, Bernardo Silva, John Stones and Tijjani Reijnders all departing the club this summer.<\/p>\n
