\n The unclaimed estates are among 5,479 across England and Wales where no eligible heirs have been identified, meaning inheritances remain uncollected years after some individuals died.\n<\/p>\n
\n The estates are held by the Treasury Solicitor\u2019s Bona Vacantia Division (BVD), which deals with the property of people who die without a will and without identifiable blood relatives.\n<\/p>\n
\n An update published on August 21 shows 14 estates that are linked to people who died in Cumbria.\n<\/p>\n
\n The individuals, whose estates remain unclaimed, are:\n<\/p>\n

\n John Mark Frith Blezard, died April 20, 2009, Workington\n<\/p>\n
\n Jemima Daniels, died February 12, 2018, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Augustus Eglitis, died July 1, 2005, Workington\n<\/p>\n
\n Phylis Cecilia Fogden, died September 5, 2010, Maryport\n<\/p>\n
\n Jean Graham, died August 28, 2014, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Carol Anne King, died March 24, 2011, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Rodney David McCaig, died September 5, 2011, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Eugene McGuire, died August 8, 2022, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Diane Meakin, died December 30, 2022, Kendal\n<\/p>\n
\n John Raymond Trott, died August 21, 2024, Hensingham\n<\/p>\n
\n Geoffrey Watson, died January 19, 2017, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n Ronald Calder Weightman, died December 15, 2011, Whitehaven\n<\/p>\n
\n Ida Wilson, died January 10, 2017, Carlisle\n<\/p>\n
\n The BVD publishes the list to help potential relatives come forward and claim estates within a set time limit.\n<\/p>\n
\n If no rightful heirs are identified, the assets, which can range from modest savings to significant sums, remain with the Crown.\n<\/p>\n
