After dabbling with art college and various music schools, he travelled to Glasgow to study audio engineering.<\/p>\n
After graduating, MR WA7T flung himself further into Glasgow’s nightlife, running clubs in the city and becoming a mainstay of the scene before eventually moving to London.<\/p>\n
He has produced and remixed for Beyonc\u00e9, Missy Elliott, Texas to Lana Del Rey, and was previously signed to Capitol Records US.<\/p>\n
Speaking about his new track, he says, “We live in a world where oversharing everything has become an obsession. I want to reclaim the word ‘secret\u2019 – a secret to me is about keeping certain parts of your life and relationships surrounded with passion and care.<\/p>\n
“Secrets are kept to protect and love – to show that there are times and events in your life that are just for the few to know about.”<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had a No.1 Dance track in the US with a mix of a Beyonc\u00e9 track. The mix was expected on the Friday and on the following Tuesday, I was standing in front of Beyonc\u00e9 playing that mix! I DJ\u2019d it for her and Jay-Z in New York.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m a doggie dad to our rescue Staffy Missy Pickle.<\/p>\n

Emotive, healing, electronica for a generation who discovered clubbing and forged friendships of life. Everyone was equal, everyone was unique.<\/p>\n

What was the first gig you ever went to?<\/p>\n
Prince, The Nude Tour – Cork, July 1990. Myself and a few mates drove down all the way from Derry. Hardly any money for food and petrol. We spent the night in a graveyard drinking cans of Royal Dutch. Prince was incredible. Best weekend!<\/p>\n
