\n\tPhoebe Bridgers<\/a> is No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s Top Rock & Alternative Albums<\/a> chart for the first time, as Lost Weekend debuts atop the Aug. 29-dated survey.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn its first week, ending Aug. 20, the set earned 124,000 equivalent album units in the United States, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe album\u2019s triumph exceeds the No. 6 debut and peak of Bridgers\u2019 previous solo effort, Punisher, in 2020.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn between the two sets, Bridgers appeared in the top 10 as part of Boygenius<\/a>, alongside Julien Baker<\/a> and Lucy Dacus<\/a>; the band\u2019s debut full-length, The Record, reached No. 2 in 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs previously reported<\/a>, Lost Weekend roars in at No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200<\/a>, marking Bridgers\u2019 first-time top 40 entry as a solo act.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Dead Oceans label earns its highest-ever Billboard 200 placement. On Top Rock & Alternative Albums, it adds its second No. 1, following Mitski<\/a>\u2019s Laurel Hell in 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tLost Weekend\u2019s 83,000 in album sales spark a No. 2 debut on Top Album Sales<\/a>. Of that sum, 65,000 are vinyl copies, leading to a No. 1 arrival on Vinyl Albums<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tConcurrently, multiple songs from Lost Weekend reach the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, marking Bridgers\u2019 first tracks to make the chart without billed collaborators, and her first from any of her solo albums. She first appeared on the chart in 2020 with a No. 57-peaking duet cover of Goo Goo Dolls<\/a>\u2019 \u201cIris\u201d with Maggie Rogers<\/a>. She followed with featured turns on Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s \u201cNothing New (Taylor\u2019s Version) (From the Vault)\u201d (No. 43, 2021) and SZA<\/a>\u2019s \u201cGhost in the Machine,\u201d her first top 40 hit (No. 40, 2022).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Governor\u2019s Waltz\u201d leads the quartet of Lost Weekend Hot 100 entries, starting at No. 80 with 3.8 million chart-eligible streams. \u201cLost Boys\u201d (No. 85; 3.5 million streams, 2.2 million radio audience impressions), \u201cBobby\u201d (No. 93; 3.4 million streams) and \u201cKill Me\u201d (No. 100; 3.3 million streams) follow.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Hot Rock & Alternative Songs<\/a>, those four songs rank in the top 25 (led by \u201cThe Governor\u2019s Waltz\u201d at No. 19), while 13 Lost Weekend tunes infuse the chart.<\/p>\n
