Rare earths\u00a0recycler Cyclic Materials\u00a0closed on\u00a0Thursday\u00a0a $75 million strategic financing round, bringing total equity funding to $237 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cyclic\u00a0said\u00a0the\u00a0capital will accelerate deployment of\u00a0its\u00a0rare earth recycling\u00a0campus in South Carolina,<\/a>\u00a0which it plans to break ground on Q4 2026,\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0expansion of its Hub-and-Spoke infrastructure across the\u00a0US.\u00a0<\/p>\n The company, backed by a global group of institutional investors that includes Energy Impact Partners, Microsoft, Amazon, BMW\u00a0i\u00a0Ventures, Jaguar Land Rover and Hitachi Ventures, is aiming to increase\u00a0domestic production capacity for rare earths and critical minerals used across the AI, semiconductor, robotics, defense, automotive, medical, and other advanced manufacturing sectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n The latest financing round is led by accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., which first invested in Cyclic Materials in 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The\u00a0company said the\u00a0new capital will accelerate\u00a0expansion of\u00a0its\u00a0Arizona magnet separation and critical mineral recycling plant, which is expected to\u00a0commence\u00a0operations in\u00a0Q3\u00a02026.\u00a0<\/p>\n The South Carolina facility will combine the company\u2019s proprietary magnet separation, rare earth\u00a0recovery\u00a0and refining platforms at scale,\u00a0Cyclic\u00a0said.\u00a0<\/p>\n The company plans to\u00a0build\u00a0an integrated domestic critical material ecosystem, from feedstock sourcing and manufacturing scrap recovery to rare earth production.\u00a0<\/p>\n The financing comes as the United States has\u00a0designated\u00a0the recovery of critical materials already in circulation a national defense and supply security priority. A July 30\u00a0Presidential Determination<\/a>\u00a0identified\u00a0end-of-life rare earth permanent magnets, manufacturing\u00a0swarf, and other critical-mineral-bearing\u00a0scrap\u00a0as recoverable resources essential to national security.\u00a0<\/p>\n
