It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Breege Heneghan, who passed away peacefully on 28th August 2026, after an illness fought with great courage and dignity, surrounded by her loving family.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Beloved wife of Bertie and devoted mother of \u00c1ine, Niall and Cathal. Breege will be deeply missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Lesley and Lisa, \u00c1ine\u2019s partner Michael, her cherished grandchildren Billy, R\u00edan and Emma, sisters Mary, Noreen and Ann, brother Paddy, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Breege was predeceased by her parents Bridget and Patrick, her sister Peggy and brother Larry.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Beacon Hospital in Dublin, who cared for Breege with extraordinary compassion, respect and dignity throughout her illness.<\/p>\n

Reposing at Gilligan\u2019s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12 YP74) on Monday, 31st August, from 5.30 p.m. Removal at 7:30 p.m. to St Colman\u2019s Church, Claremorris (F12 A562).<\/p>\n
