{"id":610998,"date":"2026-09-01T08:22:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T08:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/610998\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T08:22:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T08:22:09","slug":"boy-16-charged-with-murder-and-attempted-murders-after-dungannon-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/610998\/","title":{"rendered":"Boy (16) charged with murder and attempted murders after Dungannon attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY has been charged with the murder of a man in Co Tyrone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The teenager has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder and threats to kill following the incident at a house in the Lisnahull Road area of Dungannon on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He is due to appear before Omagh Magistrates\u2019 Court later today.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service,\u201d a PSNI spokesperson said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services attended the scene at around 10.55am on Saturday after the PSNI received a report from a member of the public of an ongoing disturbance.<\/p>\n<p>The body of a 61-year-old man was discovered at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>A 48-year-old woman, the victim\u2019s wife, sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
