{"id":611058,"date":"2026-09-01T09:44:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T09:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/611058\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T09:44:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T09:44:09","slug":"mayo-founded-anaphylaxis-kits-will-accommodate-new-nasal-spray","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/611058\/","title":{"rendered":"Mayo-founded anaphylaxis kits will accommodate new nasal spray"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With the Nasal Adrenaline spray becoming available today in Ireland, a Mayo man who created an \u2018Emergency Anaphylaxis Plus Kit\u2019 says the medication will be accommodated in his medical cabinets.<\/p>\n<p>Hollymount\u2019s Darren Forde, the founder of Eco Powered Cabinets, created the life-saving kit which was launched earlier this year in Castlebar.<\/p>\n<p>The Nasal Adrenaline spray provides an alternative needle-free emergency treatment for severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, by spraying the dose up one nostril.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Forde says EPC were contacted earlier this year by the manufacturer regarding the medication\u2019s launch in Ireland.
