{"id":611256,"date":"2026-09-01T14:16:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T14:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/611256\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T14:16:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T14:16:11","slug":"dream-point-experience-home-of-irelands-biggest-ball-pit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/611256\/","title":{"rendered":"Dream Point Experience &#8211; home of &#8216;Ireland&#8217;s biggest ball pit&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A DUBLIN FAMILY attraction has announced its sudden closure.<\/p>\n<p>The Dream Point Experience, located at the Point Village shopping centre, bills itself as an \u201c21,000 sq ft immersive world of dreams\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It claimed to house Ireland\u2019s biggest ball pit, along with eight \u201cimmersive rooms\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dream Point also hosted parties, school tours and corporate events.<\/p>\n<p>However, the experience has announced it is ceasing trading with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe regret that we share the difficult news that Theatre of Light Limited, trading as The Dream Point Experience, has made the decision to cease trading,\u201d a <a href=\"https:\/\/dreampointexperience.ie\/statement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">statement<\/a>\u00a0on its website read.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to sincerely thank all of our customers, suppliers, employees, partners and supporters for being part of The Dream Point Experience over the past few years,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/.png\"  alt=\"Screenshot 2026-09-01 at 10.54.37\" class=\"alignnone inline-image\" \/><br \/>\n            The Alice in Wonderland experience at Dream Point                    Andres Poveda<\/p>\n<p>    Andres Poveda\n<\/p>\n<p>The experience was developed through a \u20ac3 million investment by Irish brothers Dan and John Gleeson.<\/p>\n<p>It began operating in April 2025 and also offered adult experiences including Van Gogh After Dark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Dream Point opened its<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dublintown.ie\/stories-guides\/step-through-the-looking-glass-with-new-alices-wonderland-immersive-venue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Alice in Wonderland<\/a>\u00a0event, said to be its most ambitious immersive experience to date.<\/p>\n<p>Dream Point also took to Instagram to inform customers of the news of its closure sharing that it is with \u201ca heavy heart\u201d that the attraction shuts down.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A DUBLIN FAMILY attraction has announced its sudden closure.
