Daktronics has confirmed its entered a redundancy consultation process with approximately 100 employees of its Ennistymon facility.<\/p>\n
Daktronics purchased the then \u2018Data Display\u2019 manufacturing plant in 2014.<\/p>\n
In a statement to Clare FM, the company says \u201cno final decision has been made, and it\u2019s committed to engaging with employees in good faith and in accordance with local employment laws.\u201d<\/p>\n
Daktronics, says its considering a proposal to exit from its highly customized International Transportation business, which serves rail, bus, and roadway customers outside the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n

As part of this consideration, the company has notified its approximately 100 employees in Ireland that their roles are \u2018at risk\u2019 and that the company is entering into a collective redundancy consultation\u00a0process regarding the future of its Ennistymon manufacturing facility and other Ireland-based roles.\u00a0<\/p>\n
