Sienna Blake is finally back on screen in Hollyoaks \u2014 and not without a couple of big twists for good measure. The long-running character, played by Anna Passey, was last seen in May when she was jailed for the murder of Clare Devine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans had been keen to discover how exactly she’d manage to become a free woman again and what her return to the village would entail. Now we have a much clearer idea.<\/p>\n

In tonight’s (2 September) episode, she was seen leaving prison and meeting up with none other than Jenson (Ryan Clayton), who viewers know is an undercover police officer.<\/p>\n

As the two talked in his car, Jenson pointed out that he made a couple of “inconvenient files” disappear, thereby enabling Sienna to be released.<\/p>\n

When he reminded Sienna that she now owes him something in return, hinting at some sort of task he needs her to carry out, she nervously said: “That’s going to have to wait… there’s something I need to do.”<\/p>\n

She refused to tell Jenson what exactly she was referring to. As he grew more agitated, they were interrupted by her friend Jodie, seemingly a pal she made behind bars.<\/p>\n

So, what exactly is it that Jenson needs her to do? And does it have anything to do with his plan to take down brother Warren, with whom Sienna has plenty of history?<\/p>\n

That wasn’t the only Sienna-related twist in store though, as Jodie was then revealed to be linked to Abigail, the character played by Brooke Vincent. What exactly is their connection, and will Jodie now play into Abigail’s ongoing hard-hitting grooming story with Dee Dee Hutchinson<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Sienna is sure to turn heads when she returns to the village next week, but one person she won’t be reuniting with any time soon is former pal Ste, whose big new disappearance storyline kicked off this evening<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One person she will find though is the back-from-the-dead James Nightingale \u2014 who just so happens to now be living in her flat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/p>\n
