Josephine passed away, unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, at Charing Cross Hospital, London, on August 20th, 2026. Predeceased by her parents Patrick (Birdie) and Margaret (Maggie) and her sister Esther. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her partner George and his family, her dear cousin Lisa, sister Mary (Stack), brothers Dan, Pat and James, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel, on Thursday evening (September 3rd) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral arriving to The Sacred Heart Church, Lyreacrompane, on Friday afternoon at 12.45pm, with the Requiem Mass for Josephine being celebrated at 1.00pm, followed by burial afterwards in Springmount Cemetery, Duagh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Josephine Ahern, Kensington, London and formerly on Knocknaglough, Lyreacrompane.
