Helmed by Christine Zeqiri and Valerie Goldin-Remm, Atelier CV<\/a> conjured an ethereal lounge evocative of a luminary, a celestial body that emits its own light, utilizing shimmering materials by Phillip Jeffries<\/a>, Artistic Tile<\/a>, Benjamin Moore<\/a>, and Tai Ping<\/a> to infuse the space with a celestial glow.<\/p>\n

Regina Bilotta and Sarah Witkin of Bilotta Kitchen & Home<\/a> transformed the Kips Bay Decorator Show House kitchen into an Italian coffee bar, enveloping the room with an expressive stone from Artistic Tile<\/a> that serves as a dynamic counterpoint to their warm custom cabinetry. Metallic accents give the space a powerful shot of la dolce vita.<\/p>\n

To create an office any editor would cherish, Chad Dorsey<\/a> curated a thoughtful selection of celebrated design pieces by favorite makers, like Hans Wegner and Kyle Bunting<\/a>, with artifacts, aromas, and music certain to inspire creativity and literary excellence.<\/p>\n

The sultry Velvet Hour lounge envisioned by Dunnam Zerbini Design<\/a> uses Donghia<\/a> fabric, Fromental<\/a> wallpaper, sculptural lighting by Christopher William<\/a>, and a visually captivating fireplace<\/a> to foster an atmosphere of convivial conversation and heady cocktail parties with those in the know.<\/p>\n

Eve Jean Interiors<\/a> designed a boudoir bath around a striking stone from Artistic Tile<\/a>, a painterly wall covering from Arte<\/a>, and attention-grabbing Kohler<\/a> fixtures. Bold lighting by Visual Comfort<\/a> ups the glamour factor in this feminine sanctuary.<\/p>\n

Tapping into the vibrant energy of New York in the 1970s, Erik Gensler of EZG Design<\/a> orchestrated a cinematic lounge filled with rich colors and tactile surfaces. Here, coveted pieces by Milo Baughman, Billy Baldwin, and Joe Colombo take on a new life juxtaposed with contemporary finds from Rug & Kilim<\/a>, Misia<\/a>, and The Lacquer Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Envisioning a bedroom suite for \u201cthe new connoisseur,\u201d John Ferguson Interiors<\/a> mixed strong geometries with softer moments, like a swath of drapes of a Casamance<\/a> fabric. Upping the ante is a considered array of collectible design, with special finds from R & Company<\/a>, Maison Gerard<\/a>, John Rosselli<\/a>, and more, defining this room as the retreat of a scholarly collector.<\/p>\n

All you need is love\u2014Kylie K. Bass of KKB Interiors<\/a> leaned in to the idea of the love of one\u2019s home to produce a young girl\u2019s en suite. A beautiful Gracie<\/a> wallpaper helps set the scene, which is elevated through Sanderson<\/a> fabrics and window treatments by The Shade Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the bath, dubbed \u201cFuture Ruins,\u201d Megan Grehl<\/a> looked to produce a space that \u201cexplores the dialogue between permanence and impermanence\u201d and serves as a spot \u201cfor ritual, reflection, and restoration.\u201d Look for a bold stone by ABC Stone<\/a>, evocative of the cinematic film Dune , and unexpected amenities like a custom beverage center.<\/p>\n

This thoroughfare, organized by Studio Armando Aguirre,<\/a> embraces the idea of multiple paths by providing myriad activities to the imagined homeowner. Here, visitors can read a book from the library, savor a light afternoon bite, compete in a spirited game of chess<\/a>, or head out to the terrace for an illicit smoke.<\/p>\n

Taking inspiration from the cherished storybook The Secret Garden, Aamir Khandwala<\/a> literally dreamt his fairy-tale show house salon, organizing surreal furniture pieces and magical artisan-made objets to shape a wonderland-like environment.<\/p>\n

Robbins Architecture + Interiors<\/a> founder Celeste Robbins tapped into her travels throughout Japan for a bath named for the Japanese word for mist, kasumi. That ethos is translated into a hazy screen made using a Rosemary Hallgarten sheer, stonework of various opacities, and hidden technology that fills the room with a transportive interplay of light and shadow.<\/p>\n

With a slightly hedonistic spirit, Andrew Torrey<\/a> imagined a fumoir with books from his personal library as well as inspired furnishings and home accents from Calico, Chapter & Verse<\/a>, Edward Fields, Loro Piana<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n

With offices in both Mexico<\/a> and the U.S., Gonzalo Bueno and Mauricio Lobeira of Ten Plus Three<\/a> brought that international flavor to El Mezzanine, a decorated landing that combines inspired works by visionary makers like Nacho Carbonell, Rogan Gregory, and Damien Langlois.<\/p>\n

More and more designers treat the outdoor area<\/a> as an extension of the home; Tyler Banken<\/a> embraced that philosophy in the show house\u2019s backyard, carving out zones for cooking, dining, and respite. Sutherland furniture, Ann Sacks<\/a> tile, and Christopher William<\/a> lighting enliven the space that also boasts a custom pergola with mosaics and a fire feature.<\/p>\n

Already established as an expert at creating an unforgettable show house bath<\/a>, Vanessa Deleon<\/a> introduces \u201cImmersion,\u201d a bathing sanctuary wrapped in an awe-inspiring stone patchwork from Artistic Tile<\/a>. Adding to the painterly composition are a Made Good vanity and Kohler<\/a> fixtures, as well as unexpected shapes and elements from the designer\u2019s collection of home accents.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles studio Marmol Radziner<\/a> shaped the dining room into a space that reflects the transformative power of architecture. Through a considered mix of materials and curated selection of furniture\u2014including a bespoke table with an unexpected shape\u2014the visionary creatives produced a dramatic zone that embodies the design sentiment that less is sometimes more.<\/p>\n

One of the show house\u2019s five bedrooms\u2014and the only with original windows\u2014this guest suite becomes a visual symphony under the direction of Peter Dunham<\/a>. Installing his newest linen stripe, the designer produced an energetic showcase for an eclectic assortment of art, while tactile pieces from his Hollywood at Home <\/a>collection add to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n
