The Who set a (then) record for the largest ever indoor rock concert attendance when 76,898 people packed into Metropolitan Stadium in Pontiac, also known as \u2018The Silverdome\u2019.\u00a0Due to the venue\u2019s size, a large closed circuit video screen was installed and four cameras were used to convey instant visuals to the back projection. The images were recorded onto 2\u2033 videotape with the sound captured in mono via a direct line feed from the PA.In 1977 the film was partly used in The Kids Are Alright movie but some 50 years on the entire show has been exhumed from The Who\u2019s Archives and professionally cleaned up, with the audio remastered (it remains in mono). It stands as one of the few complete visual records of this tour \u2013 The Who\u2019s last with Keith Moon.<\/p>\n<p>The Who By Numbers (Region-free) blu-ray audio is #78 in the ongoing <a href=\"#sdesurroundseries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SDE Surround Series<\/a> and it will be packaged similarly to previous editions and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase.<\/p>\n<p>This is a\u00a0TIME LIMITED release.
