Kick-off at Estadio de La Cartuja is at 8pm Irish time.<\/p>\n

What looked like a decent chance for Betis is called offside. Cucho got on the end of a nice pass threaded through a few Madrid defenders but his run was early.<\/p>\n

Guller with a heavy challenge and the home fans go wild, calling for the Real Madrid player to receive a second yellow. No joy though, just a free.<\/p>\n

Free kick for Real Madrid comes to nothing. Ball floated in and it\u2019s an easy fetch for Valles. Second half lacking a bit of intensity so far.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re back under way at Estadio de La Cartuja. No half-time introduction for Parrott.<\/p>\n

No sign of the boy wonder Troy Parrott just yet, but Manuel Pellegrini may look to shake up his attack after the break.<\/p>\n

Slow reaction from Real Betis as Real Madrid bounce on the counterattack. Vini Jr is forced towards the corner and his shot back in towards goal takes a deflection out for a corner.<\/p>\n

Huijsen gets up for the header but sends it just over the woodwork.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s half-time.<\/p>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 blocked twice! Vini Jr makes the run but Valles makes the angle difficult. The Brazilian delays and plays it back to the oncoming Frenchman but his first shot is blocked. Mbapp\u00e9 gets on the rebounding ball but again, he\u2019s denied.<\/p>\n

Stoppage in play after two Real Betis players have a coming together. Llorente came out the worst of it, taking a bash to the nose, and Bartra comes in to replace him.<\/p>\n

Real Betis look dangerous on the counterattack but fluff their lines crossing the box and play a short pass out, giving Real Madrid time to get back.<\/p>\n

Tempers flare momentarily after Huijsen puts in a tackle on Cucho, but there wasn\u2019t much in it. Antony makes his annoyance known as the referee calls the hydration break.<\/p>\n

Some beautiful control by Antony to lay it off to Cucho for the shot, but he drills it wide.<\/p>\n

Another chance for Real Madrid but Vini Jr hesitates and finds the outside of the post. The Brazilian wasn\u2019t helped by the delayed pass across the box from Mbapp\u00e9, who looked like he wanted to work something up for himself before opting for the alternative.<\/p>\n

Confusion between Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham puts an end to a solid chance for Madrid.<\/p>\n

Long cross is sent in and both make the run into the box, coming together. Guler gets a foot to it, but it\u2019s an easy block for Valles.<\/p>\n

First shot for Real Betis come from Antony. A poor Real Madrid throw is intercepted but reclaimed by the visitors, only for a sloppy pass to gift Antony the shot on goal. He arrows for the top left, but Courtois has his measure.<\/p>\n

And we\u2019re under way. Slow opening exchanges as Real Madrid push up. Dumfries makes a run up the wing and turns in, Fran Garcia on the receiving end of a heavy shoulder.<\/p>\n

At a stoppage in play, the Real Madrid players tell the referee they\u2019re unhappy with the match ball, so the officials make a swap.<\/p>\n

Should he feature off the bench this evening, it will be Parrott\u2019s third outing with his new club. He made his first appearance off the bench in their win over Valencia, playing a crucial part in Pablo Garcia\u2019s 83rd-minute winner, earning him his first start on their next day out against Levante.<\/p>\n

Despite some frustrations for Parrott, having a goal ruled offside and missed an opportunity on goal, the 24-year-old was influential up front for Betis and provided the assist for Marc Bartra\u2019s first-half goal.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid sit second in La Liga<\/a> on nine points after three wins in the opening three games, beating against Espanyol, Real Sociedad and M\u00e1laga. Barcelona are in the top spot, also on nine points but ahead on goal difference.<\/p>\n

Real Betis, meanwhile, are seventh, level on six points with Sevilla in sixth.
