Valve are clearly making preparations for the Steam Frame to finally get a proper release this month – with a new Release Candidate Beta build<\/a> of SteamVR. If you say Steam Frame three times in a mirror – maybe Gabe will finally reveal the price and release date.<\/p>\n

We don’t yet have any official dates but there’s been plenty of rumours floating around about Monday, and several YouTube creators have teased they have the Steam Frame for review (but not us – Valve didn’t reply still). So I’ll be keeping an eye out.<\/p>\n

SteamVR Beta 2.17.8 changes<\/p>\n

\nFix crash using Steam Link on Linux when games submit invalid textures.
\nFix stutters when using Steam Link on NVIDIA cards.
\nImprove streaming recovery when using Steam Link on Linux.
\nMove less frequently used window controls to \u201cAdditional Options\u201d Menu, and added option to toggle curvature. <\/p>\n
