(Image Credit: Susan McNeil\/paNOW)<\/p>\n<p>By Susan McNeil<\/p>\n<p>Bus shelter art <\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tSep 6, 2026 | 3:17 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Three more transit shelters in Prince Albert will get a new look after the City of Prince Albert announced a second call for designs from Indigenous artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The city hopes making transit shelters more welcoming will increase community pride and help prevent them from being targeted by vandals, as they have been in the past.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking for designs that reflect Indigenous culture and pride and continue to beautify our city,\u201d said Judy MacLeod Campbell, arts and culture manager for the City of Prince Albert.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe transit shelters have been the target of vandalism over the last several years, and our belief is that adding art \u2014 grounded in Indigenous culture and history \u2014 will create a welcoming and positive environment that contributes to reconciliation, pride and community belonging.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This is one of the first four bus shelter art installations in front of Sask.
