Four nights without The Traitors… what did we do with our evenings before this again?<\/p>\n

Aoife immediately catches suspicion for not seeming upset enough about her pal\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve only known her a few days!\u201d she protests to Sean C.<\/p>\n

Luckily for her \u2014 and D\u00f3nal, who seemed like a goner last Tuesday \u2014 there\u2019s another name in the mix today.<\/p>\n

A wolf in sheep’s clothing?<\/p>\n

For today\u2019s mission, our contestants split into groups of three, with sheep running around the field, each tagged with the name of one of the players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teams must identify the sheep on their \u2018wanted\u2019 poster and guess its correct name. For every correctly identified sheep, there\u2019s an extra \u20ac1,000 into the prize fund. But, as is becoming the theme this season, the players seem more interested in the opportunity at the end of earn a shield. There’s a catch, however. Each team must nominate just one team member to try earn a shield for themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"TheThe Traitors episode four mission involved a lot of sheep<\/p>\n

In Fionula\u2019s team, the majority decide Kayleigh and David are most at risk of murder, so they should do rock, paper, scissors to decide who gets the chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan we all be on the rock, paper, scissors then? Because I\u2019d love a shield,\u201d Fionula pipes up.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour name is up for banishment tonight, so honestly… I would prefer you not to be in the running for a shield,\u201d Denis says. Oof!<\/p>\n

In the car, after David has scored the shield (David, Pete and Donal were picked in the end), Fionula asks, \u201cWho made [Denis] lord and master to decide that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Back at the castle, Denis describes it as a \u201chilarious\u201d moment, but his partner Diageo worries it was \u201ca bit rude\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fionula interrupts their conversation to repeat her lord and master line, and really starts utilising those acting skills. Her voice breaks ever so slightly as she questions why Denis had to leave her out. “I do feel bad,” he admits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The curtain call<\/p>\n

At the roundtable, our panto dame ups the ante as she addresses Sam, raising how suspicious she found it that Ian seemed particularly surprised he hadn\u2019t been saved by Sam in the previous day’s mission, with Sam bypassing her immediately to go and explain his reasoning to Ian afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I came to talk that out with you, you bombarded me with, \u2018No, no! You were the first person, the minute you took off the mask I knew it was you!\u2019\u201d she exclaims, clearly overstating Sam\u2019s reaction.<\/p>\n

Fair play to Sam, he doesn\u2019t let it phase him. He calmly explains that he has been floating her name for the past few days and hasn\u2019t wanted to chat to her while he watches her and tries to figure her out. Asked why he didn’t come to her with his questions he replies, “that\u2019s not how I\u2019ve decided to play this game.”<\/p>\n

\u201cAny questions I have will be at the roundtable, to catch you on the hop. I am not giving you a chance to prepare.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sam then presents her with some of his own observations, including that he noticed her hands were \u201cshaking\u201d at the previous night\u2019s banishment, as though she had just escaped the Faithfuls herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are one of the only people that sits at this roundtable with your head down,\u201d Anna adds. \u201cYou do not look at anybody.”<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re bracing yourself,\u201d Denis chimes in, \u201cbecause this is where we\u2019re catching Traitors.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"Fionula,Fionula, 61, Actor and Drama Teacher, Cork<\/p>\n

The accusations keep coming, and Fionula is floundering a bit now.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get the vibe I am being used by the Traitors,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Janet challenges her to explain what she means, but Fionula says she \u201cisn\u2019t a theorist\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a moment that will surely come back to bite her, Gr\u00e1inne goes out of her way to say she believes Fionula is coming under suspicion for things that are simply part of her personality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think she\u2019s a Traitor,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

When it comes to the final vote, fellow Traitor\u00a0 P\u00e1raic K very calmly and cleanly votes to banish Fionula, saying: \u201cI do love you, but it just seems to be pointing in your direction tonight, so I am afraid I\u2019ve put you down.\u201d We wonder will any of the Faithfuls pick up on that odd address in the coming days?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Four nights without The Traitors… what did we do with our evenings before this again?
