The pop singer took to social media today (September 8) to announce the album, which features live versions of all 12 tracks on \u2018Petal<\/a>\u2018. Also included on the record \u2013 which is available for download exclusively on iTunes here<\/a> \u2013 is a version of the record\u2019s lead single, \u2018Hate That I Made You Love Me<\/a>\u2019, recorded during a rehearsal for her \u2018Eternal Sunshine\u2019 run<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It comes shortly after Grande wrapped up a series of shows at London\u2019s O2 as part of the huge tour. It was previously confirmed that these would be her last live shows for a while, as she will be \u201ctaking a step back from visibility\u201d<\/a>\u00a0due to \u201cendless, ongoing public scrutiny\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reviewing the first night at The O2,\u00a0NME\u00a0awarded\u00a0the show five stars<\/a>, describing it as \u201cbrilliant business-as-usual before the singer takes a break\u201d.<\/p>\n

It added: \u201cFor much of the two-hour runtime, Grande\u2019s setlist nimbly mixes gold-plated bops (2016\u2019s dance-pop starburst \u2018Into You\u2019; 2019\u2019s sleek R&B gem \u2018Thank U, Next\u2019) with vibey and sometimes less immediate deep cuts from \u2018Eternal Sunshine\u2019 and her latest album \u2018Petal\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her decision to take a step back from public life, Grande has also withdrawn from\u00a0the upcoming West End revival of\u00a0Sunday In The Park With George<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 in which she had been due to appear alongside her\u00a0Wicked<\/a>\u00a0co-star Jonathan Bailey next summer\u2013 and she has also\u00a0reportedly pulled out of the new season of\u00a0American Horror Story.<\/a><\/p>\n

Soon after she announced her decision to withdraw from public life, Grande spoke out about the move again, telling fans that \u201cmultiple things can be true at the same time\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n

Addressing fans at a Chicago concert last month, she said it was not a \u201creactive or impulsive\u201d choice. \u201cIt was something that I have decided,\u201d she explained. \u201cA plan that I had quietly made a long time ago. It was a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard that my fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me, but I just have to say that could not be more the far opposite. This is not what that is. And I just want to be very, very clear: multiple things can be true at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the acting front however, she is still set to appear alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in the upcoming\u00a0Meet The Parents\u00a0sequel\u00a0Focker-In-Law<\/a>, which will be released in November.<\/p>\n
