Animal Collective<\/a> have announced two live shows dedicated to their 2005 album, Feels<\/a>. The band will bring the record to New York\u2019s Knockdown Center on October 22 and Los Angeles\u2019 Fonda Theater on October 24.<\/p>\n

The two shows mark the quartet’s first performances together since 2022. They follow last year\u2019s 20th anniversary reissue<\/a> of the album, which came with nine unearthed B-sides and previously unreleased demos. The same year, they also premiered FeelsLive 04\/05<\/a>, which compiled live recordings taped to MiniDisc at a series of shows from 2004 and 2005.<\/p>\n

Animal Collective shared their most recent album, Isn’t It Now?<\/a>, in 2023. Since then, members Panda Bear, Avey Tare, and Geologist<\/a> have each shared<\/a> projects<\/a>. Last year, Geologist and Deakin<\/a> collaborated on the soundtrack to Jetty<\/a>, a documentary about the reconstruction of New York\u2019s Rockaway Beach in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.<\/p>\n
