A Dublin-based recruitment consultancy firm has topped the latest Tax Defaulters’ List from Revenue, with a total bill of just under \u20ac4.15m.<\/p>\n
Following an audit, Allen Recruitment Consulting Limited, with an address on Pembroke St Upper in Dublin 2, was found to have under-declared PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT to the tune of more than \u20ac2.4m.<\/p>\n
When \u20ac621,648 was added in penalties and more than \u20ac1.1m in interest, the amount owed to Revenue rose to \u20ac4,147,088.<\/p>\n
The total amount remains unpaid, with Allen Recruitment Consulting now in liquidation.<\/p>\n
The case was one of four included in the latest Tax Defaulters’ List that involved sums of more than \u20ac1m.<\/p>\n
The latest list also includes a Belfast-based events concession provider, Central Fusion Limited, which is based at the Innovation Centre on the Queens Rd.<\/p>\n
A review identified that it had under-declared \u20ac828,516 in VAT. With \u20ac507,567 in penalties and \u20ac391,000 in interest added, the total owed rose above \u20ac1.7m.<\/p>\n
That has since been repaid in full.<\/p>\n
Michelle Lawlor, listed as a landlord and PAYE employee with an address on Glasnevin Ave in Dublin 11, was found to have under-declared income tax following a Revenue investigation.<\/p>\n
The case identified \u20ac352,928 in under-declared tax, with interest and penalties increasing the amount owed to almost \u20ac1.29m.<\/p>\n
By the end of June, Revenue said \u20ac1.18m of that was unpaid.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile 3 Rockeco Limited – listed as a retail and exhibition display service provider based at the Clondalking Industrial Estate in Dublin 22 – which was found to have under-declared PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT following an audit.<\/p>\n
It had \u20ac549,292 in under-paid tax and, with interest and penalties included, the total owed rose to \u20ac1.266m.<\/p>\n
That amount has since been repaid in full.<\/p>\n
The latest Tax Defaulters’ List includes 20 settlements cases, worth a combined \u20ac11.6m.<\/p>\n
