But while it&#8217;s doing that, the company is also tending to its current-gen operating systems too.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Released on September 8, one day before its <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/inside\/iphone-18\" title=\"iPhone 18\" data-kpt=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 18<\/a> Pro special event, Apple has issued updates for iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.6.2 is build 23G90, replacing 26.6.1, build 23G83iPadOS 26.6.2 is build 23G90, replacing 26.6.1, build 23G83<\/p>\n<p>Much like the previous 26.6.1 update from <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/articles\/26\/08\/17\/apple-has-shipped-ios-2661-and-you-should-install-it-soon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">August 17<\/a>, the updates include a mix of updates for performance and security purposes.
