Ireland’s world-class golf showcased at Omega European Masters in Switzerland<\/p>\n

Promotion ahead of the 2026 Irish Open in Trump Doonbeg and the 2027 Ryder Cup in Adare Manor <\/p>\n

Tourism Ireland attended the Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana in Switzerland at the weekend. Four golf and tourism operators from the island of Ireland \u2013 G Golf Ireland, LeaTours, Gorse & Thistle and EI Travel Group \u2013 joined Tourism Ireland at the tournament.<\/p>\n

One of the DP World Tour\u2019s annual golf tournaments, the Omega European Masters attracts around 50,000 spectators each year \u2013 providing a fantastic platform to showcase our superb golf and inspire Swiss golfers to come and experience some of our top courses for themselves. Visitors to the Golf in Ireland stand had the opportunity to test their knowledge about golf on the island of Ireland through an interactive quiz and to take part in some fun, golf-themed challenges.<\/p>\n

Tourism Ireland is also reminding golfers that Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup next year and that the Irish Open will take place at Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg next week.<\/p>\n

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), said: \u201cOur presence at this year\u2019s Omega European Masters was an excellent opportunity to remind Swiss golfers that the island of Ireland offers some of the very best golf in the world, as well as spectacular scenery and fantastic visitor experiences. Golf is the world\u2019s largest sports-related travel market and Tourism Ireland is working hard to drive home the message that a golfing holiday in Ireland is about much more than a round of 18 holes \u2013 the combination of our world-class golf and our unique brand of hospitality plays a key role in attracting Swiss golfers.\u201d<\/p>\n
