“No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye” leads the 10th anniversary reissue of No Burden which arrives on Dec. 4<\/p>\n
\n\tLucy Dacus<\/a> is reissuing her debut album No Burden to celebrate its 10th anniversary. She\u2019s kicking the festivities off with a bang: today, she is sharing the previously unreleased track \u201cNo Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNo Burden\u2018s 10th anniversary reissue arrives on Dec. 4. The album will be pressed on a special seaglass vinyl and preorders are ongoing. No Burden includes songs \u201cI Don\u2019t Wanna Be Funny Anymore\u201d and \u201cStrange Torpedo,\u201d among others.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cNo Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye\u201d was recorded with Adrian Olsen\u00a0and Dacus\u2019 guitarist Alan Good Parker. The song has become a favorite hidden gem among Dacus\u2019 fans; the singer-songwriter has performed it a handful of times over the years. The song features Good Parker\u2019s fuzzed-out guitar as Dacus sings the heart-wrenching lyrics: \u201cI swore to myself\/I would not follow your lead\/So why did I get in the car every evening?\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tDacus spent her summer on tour<\/a> across the United States plus on the festival circuit, including shows at Outside Lands<\/a> and Newport Folk Festival. She\u2019s concluding her tour by performing alongside Cat Power and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra in a special tribute performance of Power\u2019s album The Greatest on Sept. 13 at the Hollywood Bowl. <\/p>\n \n\tDacus\u2019 album Forever Is a Feeling<\/a> was released last year. Back in April, she released \u201cPlanting Tomatoes<\/a>\u201d as a Record Store Day exclusive 7-inch vinyl, before it appeared on streaming platforms days later.
