“Items of evidential value” have been seized by garda\u00ed investigating a hit-and-run in Co Clare last week, in which a 17-year-old boy died.<\/p>\n
Bryan Lowe sustained fatal injuries near Clonlara, close to the Clare\/Limerick border, late on Friday night.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were alerted after he was found unresponsive at Cottage Cross, near Clonlara.<\/p>\n
The teenager, who had been on a scrambler e-bike, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
A silver\/gold coloured Skoda Octavia, believed to have been involved in the collision, did not remain there.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed carried out a search operation at a number of residential locations in Co Limerick this morning.<\/p>\n
In a statement, they said that “a number of items of evidential value” were seized.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made, but garda\u00ed say they are following a definite line of inquiry.<\/p>\n
It is believed that Bryan may have had some interaction with a group of others in the time immediately before his death.<\/p>\n
