\n\tElon Musk<\/a> has spoken out about Alex Gibney<\/a>\u2018s four-hour documentary on him, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival<\/a> on Tuesday, calling it a \u201chit piece\u201d that is \u201cboring.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMusk,\u201d which earned a four-minute standing ovation<\/a> at its premiere and a slew of positive reviews<\/a>, seeks to make sense of the world\u2019s richest man and the outsized influence he has on the world. It dives deep into Musk\u2019s shift to MAGA supporter, controversies surrounding his Occupy Mars mission and Tesla\u2019s self-driving cars and his contentious relationships with several of the mothers of his 14 children.<\/p>\n

\n\tMusk began replying to posts on X<\/a> about the documentary on Wednesday, writing under a video of Gibney at the movie\u2019s press conference that \u201cdogshit is worth more respect\u201d than the Oscar-winning documentarian. He claimed in a separate reply<\/a> that Gibney had \u201cjust assembled a hit list of people who either have an axe to grind or don\u2019t even know me (but still have an axe to grind),\u201d adding: \u201cHe has ZERO integrity. Horrible human.\u201d It is unclear if Musk has seen the documentary.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMusk\u201d features interviews with the tech billionaire\u2019s first wife, Justine Musk; his father, Errol Musk; Ashley St. Clair, the mother of his 13th child; Geoffrey Hinton, the \u201cgodfather of AI\u201d; Tesla co-founder Martin Eberhard; LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and more. St. Clair appeared on the press conference panel <\/a>at Venice and alleged that she had been offered a $40 million NDA by Musk after the birth of their child, Romulus, last year. \u201cI want to set the example for my kids that we should never take being materially comfortable that we\u2019re speaking the truth,\u201d St. Clair said.<\/p>\n

\n\tReplying to a TMZ article about St. Clair\u2019s statement, Musk said<\/a>: \u201cShe was never offered that and has a history of making false claims.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a further reply, Musk called the doc<\/a> \u201ca hit piece that misses, and makes the fatal sin of being boring for 4 hours.\u201d He also called the film a \u201chit piece\u201d back in 2023, when it was first announced.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the film\u2019s press conference, Gibney said that the first thing he did was try to interview Musk, but he declined. \u201cWe intended to make a shorter film before Musk became wrapped in the career of Donald Trump and the United States,\u201d the director added. Instead, Gibney and his team developed an AI avatar of Musk that delivers statements he has said during the film, which is set to release in U.S. theaters on Oct. 16 via Bleecker Street.<\/p>\n
