\n\tROS\u00c9<\/a> is giving fans a first taste of her next song, and she\u2019s doing it through Apple<\/a>\u2018s latest \u201cShot on iPhone\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth Apple and the singer\u2019s official Instagram accounts announced Wednesday (Sept. 9) that \u201cnew trick\u201d will arrive Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. ET. The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Dave Meyers and filmed entirely on Apple\u2019s newly unveiled iPhone 18 Pro.<\/p>\n

\n\tROS\u00c9 gave fans just a few seconds of the track in a teaser. In the clip, she holds a purple-burgundy lollipop \u2014 reminiscent of a Tootsie Roll Pop \u2014 while the words \u201cnew trick\u201d cover the candy wrapper. The preview features the song\u2019s audio, including the lyrics, \u201cLovesick, I\u2019ll pick my heart off the floor \/ New trick, watch this, watch this, ow!\u201d A distorted electric guitar and layered vocals give the brief snippet a punchy, slightly gritty edge.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song\u2019s visual debut also puts ROS\u00c9 at the center of Apple\u2019s newest \u201cShot on iPhone\u201d campaign, which has previously recruited some of pop\u2019s biggest names, including The Weeknd<\/a>\u2018s \u201cDancing in the Flames,\u201d Olivia Rodrigo<\/a>\u2018s \u201cGet Him Back!\u201d and Lady Gaga<\/a>\u2018s \u201cStupid Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor the latest installment, Meyers \u2014 whose credits include music videos for artists including Taylor Swift<\/a>, Harry Styles<\/a> and Kendrick Lamar<\/a> \u2014 takes on \u201cnew trick\u201d using the iPhone 18 Pro\u2019s camera system. Apple announced that the new model introduces variable aperture control to the iPhone for the first time.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement comes as ROS\u00c9 continues to build on a major run as a solo artist following her debut studio album, rosie, which dropped in December 2024. Her Bruno Mars collaboration \u201cAPT.\u201d provided an even bigger chart breakthrough, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cnew trick\u201d now appears poised to introduce another side of ROS\u00c9\u2019s career. While the short teaser leaves plenty about the song under wraps, its electric guitar, stacked vocals and playful candy-centered imagery give fans a glimpse at what ROS\u00c9 has in store.<\/p>\n
