Sharon Osbourne<\/a> has filed to remove her late husband Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>\u2019s long-time accountant as an executor of his will.<\/p>\n

The Black Sabbath rocker<\/a>\u2019s widow, 73, lodged documents against Colin Newman with the English High Court, The Sun<\/a> reported. <\/p>\n

Sharon is joined by two other executors, her niece, Georgina Maszlin, and her assistant, Melinda Varga, in requesting Newman\u2019s removal.<\/p>\n

The reason for the trio\u2019s filing is unknown.<\/p>\n

The move comes more than a year after Ozzy died<\/a> in July 2025 aged 76.<\/p>\n

He left behind an estimated \u00a3100 million ($187 million) fortune.<\/p>\n

Newman has a long history with the Osbournes<\/a>, meeting Sharon when he worked as a junior accountant for her music manager father, Don Arden.<\/p>\n

He became the couple\u2019s accountant before they married in 1982 and has been intertwined in their business ever since.<\/p>\n

He was credited on several of Ozzy\u2019s albums and acted as Sharon\u2019s literary agent.<\/p>\n

Newman also served as director of Ozzy\u2019s UK company, Monowise, before stepping down in April.<\/p>\n

Sharon joined the company as director in December, according to the UK\u2019s Companies House<\/a> directory.<\/p>\n

Ozzy died of a heart attack just weeks after his farewell gig in his home city of Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He also had coronary artery disease in addition to suffering from Parkinson\u2019s disease<\/a> for years, his death certificate said.<\/p>\n

In July, to mark the first anniversary of his death<\/a>, Sharon revealed her husband had known he was dying.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was told two weeks before the show that he was dying, and they said, \u2018Don\u2019t do the show\u2019. He said, \u2018Yeah, right. Get out of here,\u2019\u201d she told Forging Metal podcast host Ed James and a live audience in a local pub. <\/p>\n

The widow called it \u201ca gift\u201d for her husband to be able to do the concert and witness the love from fans, rather than it be a memorial sort of show after he died.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis greatest love affair was with the audience and that\u2019s the way he wanted to go out,\u201d Sharon said. <\/p>\n

\u201cJust one more time and he got to do that \u2013 and he smashed it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharon sais doctors told Ozzy not to do his Back to the Beginning farewell concert at Villa Park in Birmingham just weeks before his death, but he didn\u2019t listen.\u00a0Instagram\/@blacksabbath<\/p>\n

Sharon said the concert left Ozzy riding on an absolute high for his final two weeks, after being \u201cso down, so depressed because he knew it was the end\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It] was the happiest I had ever seen him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
