{"id":620073,"date":"2026-09-10T06:12:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T06:12:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/620073\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T06:12:19","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T06:12:19","slug":"actor-noel-clarke-charged-with-sexual-offences-against-five-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/620073\/","title":{"rendered":"Actor Noel Clarke charged with sexual offences against five women"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ACTOR AND PRODUCER Noel Clarke has been charged with a number of sexual offences.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Metropolitan Police said the 50-year-old was charged with two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The offences, which relate to five women, are alleged to have taken place between 2007 and 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Clarke will appear at Westminster Magistrates\u2019 Court on 21 October.<\/p>\n<p>The UK\u2019s Crown Prosecution Service authorised the Metropolitan Police Service to charge Clarke after a file of evidence was submitted by detectives.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the charges follow an investigation which began in September 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe women connected to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers,\u201d said Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, whose team is leading the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police.
