This week, Charli D\u2019Amelio<\/a> appeared to escalate hostilities in her family\u2019s alleged cold war. On Quenlin Blackwell\u2019s Feeding Starving Celebrities<\/a>, the former D\u2019Amelio Show star seemed to take a dig at her family for controlling her finances. When Blackwell held up a pair of Charli-branded PJ bottoms and asked \u201cHow much did you make from this?\u201d D\u2019Amelio looked directly to the camera and said \u201cAin\u2019t that the question! Wouldn\u2019t I like to know?\u201d She grimmaced while Blackwell laughed her head off. It\u2019s the latest tremor in what\u2019s rumored to be a whole family-shaking quake between the D\u2019Amelios.<\/p>\n

Charli is but one member of the D\u2019Amelio clan, albeit the most famous. She\u2019s the one who won Dancing With the Stars<\/a>. She beat her mother, Heidi, for that honor. Her older sister, Dixie, also has a social media presence and modeling career. All the D\u2019Amelios, including patriarch Marc, appeared on Hulu\u2019s The D\u2019Amelio Show for three seasons. In May of this year, Deuxmoi<\/a> posted a rumor that Charli was estranged from her family after she discovered \u201cmillions of dollars had been transferred out of accounts that were established during the years her career was managed by her parents.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the comments of that post, Marc D\u2019Amelio disputed the claim. \u201cThis is not true. We love Charli, but she is being manipulated, and I have the receipts. Over the last six years, we have remained silent and never addressed gossip, but the time has come to set the record straight,\u201d he wrote. In June, People<\/a> reported Charli D\u2019Amelio had left her family\u2019s popcorn business, Be Happy Snacks. When reached for comment by the mag, Marc responded \u201cThere is nothing to say except the report is 100% not true.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is the first apparent comment on the estrangement that Charli D\u2019Amelio has given. She no longer follows her parents on Instagram, and they don\u2019t follow her. They can\u2019t Be Happy about that.<\/p>\n
