Paramount+\u2019s hit gangster series is officially back.<\/p>\n
The streamer held a red carpet premiere for MobLand ahead of Season 2\u2019s debut on September 18. The likes of Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan attended the event at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, London.<\/p>\n
Getting to this point hasn\u2019t been simple. At one stage, it appeared Hardy had\u00a0left the show<\/a> over clashes with writer and showrunner Butterworth, throwing the future of the gangster drama into doubt. Deadline revealed<\/a> that Hardy and Butterworth had found a way to resolve their issues, and Paramount officially renewed MobLand for Season 3<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n Season 2 will see the Harrigans on the brink of civil war within their own family, struggling to show a united front as rival gangs emerge to threaten their north London crime empire. At the center of it all, Harry (Hardy) has to walk the tightrope and keep them all together.<\/p>\n The show also stars the likes of Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.<\/p>\n MobLand comes from executive producer Guy Ritchie<\/a>, creator, writer and executive producer Ronan Bennett, writer\/executive producer Jez Butterworth<\/a>, David C. Glasser\u2019s 101 Studios and Paramount Television Studios.
