Inbox<\/p>\n<p>Alipay, GCash and TNG eWallet are among 10 digital wallets joining the first phase of Ant International\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/amp-protocol.io\/#\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Agentic Mobile Protocol (AMP)<\/a> rollout.<\/p>\n<p>The technology enables artificial intelligence agents to make authorised payments through wallets, super apps and smart devices.<\/p>\n<p>AlipayHK, DANA, KakaoPay, MPay, TrueMoney, Toss and Singapore-based Starryblu are also participating.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the 10 wallets serve around 1.5 billion user accounts and will support AMP within their agent security systems.<\/p>\n<p>Adyen, Allinpay, Checkout.com, Fiserv, Global Payments, Nuvei and Worldline have joined as acquiring partners.<\/p>\n<p><img \/>Jiang-Ming Yang<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAMP has been created to enable agents to enter existing mobile payment systems as trusted actors.<\/p>\n<p>We are inspired to see how, a few months into its launch, more and more wallets and payment partners are accelerating their AI strategy by bringing this exciting capability to users in the real world,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>said Jiang-Ming Yang, Chief Innovation Officer at <a href=\"https:\/\/fintechnews.sg\/tag\/Ant-International\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ant International<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>AI Agents Get Defined Payment Permissions<\/p>\n<p>Launched in April 2026, AMP is designed to let AI agents complete transactions without requiring users to switch apps or change how they pay.<\/p>\n<p>Users can authorise an agent to perform a specific task without giving it full access to their accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Digital identities and trust ratings determine what each agent can do.<\/p>\n<p>Ant International claims the protocol can halve the steps needed to connect an AI agent to a wallet.<\/p>\n<p>It also includes protection for merchants against certain risks linked to agent-led transactions.<\/p>\n<p>Mastercard and Visa Join Identity Effort<\/p>\n<p>Ant International is also working with Mastercard and Visa on a Know Your Agent interoperability framework.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative seeks to establish shared principles for onboarding and identifying AI agents across card networks, digital wallets, marketplaces and agent platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Each network will retain its own verification and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n<p>The three companies will also work through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mas.gov.sg\/schemes-and-initiatives\/buildfinai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Monetary Authority of Singapore\u2019s BuildFin.ai platform<\/a> on agent verification, accountability and risk management.<\/p>\n<p>Ant International has made AMP\u2019s source code, developer kits and technical documentation available on GitHub.<\/p>\n<p>This allows payment providers, financial institutions and AI platforms to develop and test integrations.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\"
