\n\tPop superstar-in-waiting Sienna Spiro<\/a> has landed her first No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart<\/a> with \u201cGreat Expectation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe soul-stirring ballad dethrones Ella Langley<\/a>\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d to claim the summit. The 20-year-old\u2019s achievement makes her the youngest British female artist to earn a No. 1 since Becky Hill topped the chart in July 2014 with her Oliver Heldens team-up \u201cGecko (Overdrive).\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpiro\u2019s chart breakthrough has been building in the past year. The London-born singer first cracked the U.K. top 40 in October 2025 with the viral hit \u201cDie on This Hill.\u201d As per Official Charts Company data, the track climbed to No. 9 first in November and again in January, before she followed with a string of further top 40 appearances, including \u201cYou Stole the Show,\u201d \u201cThe Visitor,\u201d \u201cMaterial Lover\u201d and \u201cPure.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGreat Expectation\u201d \u2014 from Spiro\u2019s debut album, Visitor \u2014 first entered the top 40 at No. 32 in July before steadily climbing the chart. The track reached No. 2 on the chart published Sept. 4 before completing the ascent and claiming the chart crown.<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u2019 slips one spot to No. 2 after hitting No. 1 for the first time on the Sept. 4 chart, and bringing Sam Fender and Olivia Dean<\/a>\u2019s record-breaking reign<\/a> with \u201cRein Me In\u201d \u2014 which held strong atop the chart for 23 non-consecutive weeks \u2014 to a close.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMovin\u2019 to the Sun\u201d by Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Nate follows at No. 3, while Stella Lefty\u2019s \u201cBoston\u201d stays put at No. 4. The aforementioned \u201cRein Me In\u201d rounds out the top five.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere on the chart, Dua Lipa\u2019s \u201cTraining Season\u201d surges 11 spots to No. 7, returning the 2024 single to the top 10 amid continued social media virality. Tame Impala \u2014 aka Kevin Parker \u2014 scores his second U.K. top 10 hit as \u201cLoser\u201d rises to No. 10, joining \u201cDracula\u201d in achieving the feat.<\/p>\n

\n\tFresh off a No. 2 debut for her album Prima on the U.K.\u2019s Official Albums Chart, Slovakia\u2019s Ad\u00e9la pushes \u201cAin\u2019t in LA\u201d up 14 places to a new peak of No. 12. Ashe also posts a new career high with \u201cStop the Wedding!\u201d climbing seven spots to No. 16 and breaking into the top 20 for the first time.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Miguel\u2019s 2010 R&B favorite \u201cSure Thing\u201d returns at No. 27; the track previously peaked at No. 4 in 2023 after going viral on TikTok. Miley Cyrus\u2019 new single, \u201cBass Persuades,\u201d comes in at No. 31, earning her 27th top 40 hit in the U.K. Natasha Bedingfield\u2019s \u201cUnwritten\u201d also continues its late-life chart renaissance, rising nine places to No. 29.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd a handful of acts notch new personal bests: Malcolm Todd\u2019s \u201cEarrings\u201d rises to No. 13; Alyssa Grace\u2019s \u201cBloodstream\u201d reaches No. 14; and sombr\u2019s \u201cMy Body Isn\u2019t Ready\u201d lands at No. 15.
