While there are certain products that I switch up when it comes to my hair \u2013 most notably shampoo, because my hair tends to need different things at different times \u2013 the rest remain consistent. These are the products I repurchase time and time again.<\/p>\n

I use dry shampoo for a variety of reasons \u2013 to perk up my hair between washes, to get rid of that slippery, freshly washed feeling post-shower, and just for giving it a general \u201cjuj\u201d. I\u2019ve been loyal to Klorane Oat Milk Dry Shampoo Non-Aerosol Powder (\u20ac14.50 from millies.ie<\/a>) for many years. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s incredibly gentle on the scalp thanks to the powder formula \u2013 and quite a lot can be used without causing irritation or build-up \u2013 and it\u2019s affordable. In Ireland, a bottle will set you back about \u20ac15. However, if you find yourself in France \u2013 I was there during the summer and stocked up in a local pharmacy \u2013 it\u2019s several euro cheaper. <\/p>\n

I duly bought it, loved it and used it for a long time. Other similar products came to market over the years, many of which I tried \u2013 but none could compare to this one. <\/p>\n

It achieves the type of root lift that can otherwise only be attained through some strategic backcombing. I spritz it into the roots of damp hair, take my hair dryer and a round brush and start blasting the hair upwards. The effect is sensational, and it leaves no residue behind. <\/p>\n

Committed as I was to Tangle Teaser hairbrushes for many years, I have now permanently replaced them with brushes from The Belle Brush. I repurchased one recently because my teenager had taken a shine to mine and, as a result, I could never find it. So, I bought him one of his own.<\/p>\n

The brushes are so well crafted. They don\u2019t pull or drag on the hair; they\u2019re gentle on the scalp, hair extension-friendly, and weigh next to nothing. There are different sizes, too. There\u2019s the bigger, original Belle Brush (\u20ac26 from thebellebrush.com<\/a>), The Baby Belle (\u20ac22.50), which is my favourite, and then The Palm Brush (\u20ac22.50), which I always have in my handbag. It takes up very little space and is perfect for smoothing your hair on the go. <\/p>\n

Many hair styling tools have come and gone for me over the years. While there are still some noteworthy ones in my arsenal, including the Dyson, my preference for quick and easy day-to-day waves has always been the GHD Curve Tong <\/a>(\u20ac175 from Peter Mark). <\/p>\n

It\u2019s high performance, easy to use and, having owned one of the original GHD straighteners for more than 20 years, I\u2019m not in any way surprised that it\u2019s as durable and hard-wearing as it is.<\/p>\n

I use texture spray every day, with the same frequency and commitment as brushing my teeth. It\u2019s a non-negotiable for me for adding volume and movement and a little bit of oomph to the hair. I\u2019ve possibly tried every texture spray on the market and, while many are excellent, none has exceeded Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair. <\/p>\n

It texturises wonderfully, while allowing your hair to retain softness and movement. It smells incredible. The packaging is appealing.
