Roscommon.<\/p>\n<p>Mary passed away peacefully at the Galway Hospice in the early hours of Thursday 10th September. After a long illness borne with dignity, she slipped away in the comforting presence of her adoring husband, Gerry.<\/p>\n<p>A loving mother to daughters Michelle and Niamh, and devoted grandmother to Freya.<\/p>\n<p>A cherished sister to Brid, Margaret, Martin, Michael and Sean.<\/p>\n<p>Predeceased by her beloved brothers Hughie, Pat and Malachy and by her parents Malachy and Bridget (Budge).<\/p>\n<p>She will be forever loved and deeply missed also by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.<\/p>\n<p>She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her deep devotion to bringing people together, and the generosity she extended to everyone she met.<\/p>\n<p>May she rest in peace.<\/p>\n<p>House Private prior to the Reposing arrangements and after<\/p>\n<p>Mary will repose in her home on Dr. Mannix Road, Salthill on Monday, 14th September 2026 from 2.30p.m. to 6.30p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mary on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill \u00a0on Tuesday, 15th September 2026 at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Following Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Link for Mass\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mcn.live\/Camera\/christ-the-king-church-salthill\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Maples, Dr Mannix Road, Salthill, Galway, H91YAA3 and formerly of Ballaghaderreen, Co.
