The &#8220;Ensuring Generations of Care&#8221; campaign, launched in mid-2024, aimed to reach its target by December 2026 but achieved it over a year early, thanks to the overwhelming support from donors, community partners, and volunteers. <\/p>\n<p>During the annual gala, the Health Foundation presented the check to the hospital. &#8220;This milestone reflects the unwavering commitment of our community to advancing healthcare here in southeast Indiana,&#8221; said Liz Leising, CEO of Margaret Mary Health, in a media release.<\/p>\n<p>The new hospital will serve as a regional hub for comprehensive medical care, offering a wide range of services to meet the community&#8217;s evolving needs. It will feature larger surgical suites, top-of-the-line maternity equipment, private patient rooms, an enhanced emergency room, and advanced imaging technology.
