Released right as Apple announced its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/991203\/iphone-duo-foldable-news-specs-price-release-date\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone Duo<\/a>, the ad mimics Apple\u2019s cinematic product launch videos, with \u201cTim Cook\u201d saying \u201cthe future is here.\u201d Samsung also takes a jab at Apple\u2019s Tim Cook with a reference to his recently updated profile picture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">It\u2019s the latest in Samsung\u2019s long-running history of ads dunking on its biggest rival, like one ad <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tNxDd3l0lEU\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">from over a decade ago<\/a> that makes fun of iPhone fans willing to wait in lengthy lines for Apple\u2019s latest phone. Then there\u2019s the ad for the Galaxy Note 8 that features a viral shot of a diehard Apple fan with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=s__m7oxw01Y\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a haircut matching the iPhone\u2019s notch<\/a>. Samsung did a whole <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vOzqDxwKxvs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">series of \u201cIngenius\u201d ads<\/a> teasing Apple\u2019s Genius Bar tech support, with customers asking an Apple Store employee if iPhones have various Samsung features, like a headphone jack or an included fast charger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Not all of the ads take a comedic tone, though.
