Congratulations are in order for Lady Gaga.<\/p>\n

On Friday evening, Page Six reported<\/a> that the pop star and her fianc\u00e9, Michael Polansky, had welcomed their first child together. The baby\u2019s sex and name have not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Gaga and Polansky became engaged in April 2024 after five years of dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom met him and she said to me, \u2018I think I just met your husband,\u2019 and I said, \u2018I\u2019m not ready to meet my husband!\u2019 I could never have imagined that my mom\u2026found the most perfect person for me?\u201d Gaga told Jonathan Van Meter<\/a> in her October 2024 Vogue cover story. Their relationship accelerated during the COVID-19 lockdown, when Gaga and Polansky, an entrepreneur, quarantined together at Gaga\u2019s home in Malibu for over a year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had this amazing chapter of a weird kind of normalcy,\u201d Polansky told Van Meter, \u201cthat\u2019s essential for any relationship to develop in a real way\u2014taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple has kept a low profile since May, when Gaga was promoting the release of her concert film Apple Music Live: Mayhem Requiem. The Art of Personal Chaos, Gaga\u2019s tour supporting Mayhem<\/a>, her Grammy-winning sixth studio album, ran from about April 2025 until April of this year.<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga has long been open about her desire to become a mother. In an interview on SiriusXM in 2013, when she was 27, Gaga said that she wanted \u201cto have tons of kids, actually\u2026I think at least three.\u201d She went on: \u201cI want to live a family life. I grew up with a very strong family and I just cannot imagine not having a normal nuclear family.\u201d<\/p>\n
