Cobh Ramblers swung a thrilling derby 3-2 at freshly crowned champions Cork City, who were reduced to 10 men just before the break.<\/p>\n

Seani Maguire had put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute, but the game turned a minute before half-time when Fiacre Kelleher saw red for denying a goalscoring opportunity.<\/p>\n

The Rams equalised eight minutes into the second period when goalkeeper Conor Brann palmed Jordan Adeyemi’s corner into his own net.<\/p>\n

On the hour mark, Shane Griffin fired them ahead, and Anthony Adenopo sealed it in the 85th minute, with Maguire’s effort in stoppage time merely a consolation.<\/p>\n

UCD are still second despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Athlone Town in Belfield.<\/p>\n

The midlanders broke the deadlock with just three minutes on the clock through Evan O’Connor.<\/p>\n

Hugh Smith, in the 45th minute, and then Charles Akinrintayo, 11 minutes into the second half turned it around for UCD. However, Patrick Ferry’s 76th-minute goal earned Athlone a share of the points.<\/p>\n

Bray Wanderers are third, two points behind UCD, thanks to a 1-0 win in Kerry.<\/p>\n

Tyreik Sammy’s sixth-minute strike proved the difference in Tralee.<\/p>\n

Finn Harps enjoyed their first win under boss Patrick McEleney as they got past Wexford 3-1 in Ferrycarrig Park.<\/p>\n

Harps remain bottom of the table, but this was a welcome morale boost for the Donegal side.<\/p>\n

Tony McNamee put the visitors ahead in the 50th minute, with Jake Doyle nabbing a Wexford leveller a minute later.<\/p>\n

Bernardo Monteiro restored Harps’ lead on 60 minutes, and Oran Brogan made it safe in the closing stages.<\/p>\n
