Swansea City’s impressive start to the Championship season continued as a 3-1 victory over Burnley sent the Clarets to the bottom of the table.<\/p>\n
Swansea climb back to second – behind leaders West Ham on goal difference – after two glaring Burnley errors allowed Adam Idah and Moussa Yeo goals to put Vitor Matos’ side in control before half-time.<\/p>\n
Largie Ramazani’s neat finish brought the Clarets back into the contest after the break, only for substitute Zan Vipotnik to seal Swansea’s victory as he guided home from Ronald’s pass.<\/p>\n
Defeat means Burnley remain winless in the league following their relegation from the top flight last season, while they have failed to take a point from four second-tier games on the road this season.<\/p>\n
Idah struck when he pursued Lawrence Vigouroux’s quick clearance, with the hard-running striker rewarded for his endeavour after Max Weiss’ clumsy touch allowed him to take possession and sweep into an empty net.<\/p>\n
Swansea’s second goal came from another counter, with Ugo Raghouber paying a heavy price when his blind pass was picked off by Elijah Just.<\/p>\n
This time there was work for the Swans to do, with Just feeding Yeo inside his own half before the winger galloped to the edge of the Burnley box and rattled the ball low into the bottom corner.<\/p>\n
Swansea might have had a third before the break when Idah’s shot deflected on to the post, but that would have been tough on a Burnley side who had clear opportunities of their own.<\/p>\n
Zeki Amdouni and Oliver Sonne both shot off target when through on goal, while Aaron Ramsey’s long-ranger came back off the bar thanks to a brilliant Vigouroux save.<\/p>\n
