Pic: Getty Images<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary joined her husband outside Farmleigh House on Saturday morning to greet Mr Trump and looked very elegant in the process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coordinating with the men, Mary wore a navy dress with a caped sleeve and sparkling detail on the shoulder. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As it turns out, Mary&#8217;s dress is by Irish designer Louise Kennedy, who has a long history of dressing Irish public figures and was the designer President Connolly turned to <a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/11\/11\/style\/catherine-connolly-purple-coat\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/11\/11\/style\/catherine-connolly-purple-coat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">for her inauguration outfit.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/tru2294844822.jpg\" alt=\"Taoiseach Micheal Martin looks towards U.S. President Donald Trump during a bilateral meeting at Farmleigh House. Pic: Getty Images<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary&#8217;s midi is the Thea Embellished dress by Louise Kennedy, which was part of the 2022 collection. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While this exact style is no longer available, Louise Kennedy did make a similar style, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.louisekennedy.com\/products\/zoelle-embellished-mini-cape-effect-dress\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.louisekennedy.com\/products\/zoelle-embellished-mini-cape-effect-dress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the Zoelle Embellished Mini Cape-Effect Dress<\/a>, which was priced at \u20ac1,495 in more recent years. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/ca2294836532.jpg\" alt=\"President Donald Trump is greeted by Irish President Catherine Connolly during an arrival ceremony.
