{"id":623289,"date":"2026-09-13T10:06:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T10:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/623289\/"},"modified":"2026-09-13T10:06:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T10:06:08","slug":"local-talents-to-represent-ireland-at-prestigious-competition-in-shanghai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/623289\/","title":{"rendered":"Local talents to represent Ireland at prestigious competition in Shanghai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two young local talents have been selected to represent Ireland on the world stage this month after being selected to compete at World Skills Shanghai 2026.<br \/>Taking place from September 22nd to 27th, WorldSkills Shanghai will bring together more than 1,400 competitors from over 70 countries and regions across 64 different skill areas.<\/p>\n<p>James Hunt from Virginia, Co. Cavan and Harry Green from Carrickmacross, Co.
