According to notifications sent to local telecom carriers, all models in the lineup will see a uniform price increase of KRW 149,600 (~$111).\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If that happens, the new prices will be as follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>\nGalaxy S26: KRW 1,254,000 (~$934) \u2192 KRW 1,403,600 (~$1,046)\n<\/p>\n<p>\nGalaxy S26+: KRW 1,452,000 (~$1,082) \u2192 KRW 1,601,600 (~$1,194)\n<\/p>\n<p>\nGalaxy S26 Ultra: KRW 1,797,400 (~$1,340) \u2192 KRW 1,947,000 (~$1,451)\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This move follows Apple&#8217;s recent strategy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/apple-foldable-iphone-makes-galaxy-z-fold-8-look-affordable\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"16677106\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">bumping up prices for its latest iPhones<\/a> compared to their predecessors, alongside price hikes for existing iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distribution networks and retailers are concerned that raising prices in a sluggish economy will further dampen smartphone sales, as consumers hesitate to upgrade to newer devices and hold onto older phones for a little longer.
