Fintech company Revolut Bank said today that its Irish credit portfolio has exceeded \u20ac1 billion across about 300,000 facilities.<\/p>\n
Revolut Bank has over 3.4 million customers in Ireland and more than 80 million users worldwide.<\/p>\n
It said that available data shows that its active credit card base has more than doubled in Ireland over the past year, with the bank establishing itself as a major credit card provider in Ireland in that period.<\/p>\n
It also noted that its Irish credit portfolio is one of the larger portfolios across all Revolut Bank’s activity across the nine EEA countries in which it offers lending services.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Revolut also said today that deposits here continue to grow.<\/p>\n
Its customers in Ireland have over \u20ac2 billion saved, rising by more than two-thirds in the last 12 months. It said that more than one in ten of its Irish million customers are now investing, with investment portfolios totalling over \u20ac1.2 billion.<\/p>\n
“Our credit book has grown steadily over the past four years, proving that Irish consumers are looking for more flexible and agile alternatives,” Rob Mooney, Head of Lending – Ireland at Revolut Bank said.<\/p>\n
